Sets an issue aside to focus on another without necessarily rejecting the first issue.

How related patterns differ 比較

はともかく and は抜きにして set an element aside. Conjunctive もっとも adds a qualification and differs from the adverb 最も, most. はもとより and さらに generally add information rather than setting it aside.
