~は~くらいです
wa kurai desu
About; approximately; to the extent of
Formation 接続
Amount + くらい/ぐらい. For degree: plain-form verb, i-adjective, or na-adjective + な + くらい. Example frame: N は [amount] くらいです.
Explanation 説明
Use kurai or gurai after an amount to give an approximation. After a clause, it describes the degree of the main situation. The expression is not restricted to sentences with wa and desu; the phrase before kurai determines the meaning.
